We had a comfortable stay in Kirkby Stephen close enough to the centre of Kirkby Stephen, pubs and an Indian restaurant, and Pendragon castle and all the wild places of the Dales and Cumbria. Its location was magnificent, 10 minutes drive from Stenkrith Park. The owner was always available. Enjoyed down pillows provided in advance.

We had a romantic escape and there were a couple of things we loved about our stay. the beautifully renovated property was very charming and added to the overall ambiance of our romantic getaway. the old building had a unique character that we really enjoyed. the location couldn't have been better. Being in the centre of town allowed us to easily explore the local area and visit nearby restaurants and cafes. This made it convenient for us to have romantic dinners and explore the town's charm. Lastly, the apartment was very comfortable and homely, providing a cozy atmosphere for our romantic escape.
There were a few aspects that we didn't particularly enjoy. the parking situation was quite inconvenient.

My recent stay at The Apartment Of Antiquity was absolutely delightful. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the warm and friendly hosts who made me feel right at home. The apartment itself was beautifully decorated with charming vintage antiques, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. I was thrilled to find a welcome hamper filled with homemade bread and flapjacks, a lovely touch that made me feel even more welcome. The location couldn't have been better, right on the main street with easy access to nearby shops and restaurants. While parking was not too difficult, having a designated parking space for guests would have been even more convenient. But overall, I had a wonderful experience and would happily book again. I highly recommend The Apartment Of Antiquity for a truly enjoyable stay.
